This shot was done during the heave rain that happened on Jan 22, 2010. The west end of Tempe Town Lake is over flowing it's banks.

Failed attempt!

I made a attempt yesterday to do a fresh shot for my portfolio. I wanted to shoot a cool building in Phoenix. That is not always possible. It is impossible to get access to locations anymore. Everyone is so scared that you are a security issue that as a photographers are having a hard time just shooting.
This location is the new Gila River Casino. It is on the Gila River Indian Reservation. I do not have permission to shoot it but if I could get a shot it might help with making contact with the builder. I think the builder was Kitchell. I have wanted to get work from them but no luck. I thought a shot from one of their projects could get me in the door. This shot is not great but it is the best I could do without permission to go on the property. But I least I tried!
